Hi, I have been building a lot of micro blogs pointing to my main websites on free and mostly do-follow blogging platforms like Tumblr, Eklablog, Zoomshare and so on, would like to know is this good idea to build massive backlinks with f.e. Bookmarkingdemon or Scrapebox to those micro-blogs? The link pyramide itself would look like this: about 30 microblogs with short articles and backlink to my main sites and 1000s of backlinks to those microblogs. This would be just a 2 tier pyramide, would it be more safe to add the 3rd tier? |

In my opinion. No to pyramid's full stop. You would get much better results if you focus more on your websites user experience and adding content to it. You do realise that 30 microblogs with short articles and backlinks is a huge footprint right? Sure in 2009 and 2010 and maybe some of 2011 this would work, but in 2012. No. Pyramids are fairly easy to spot by anyone let along a search engine that has a lot of "insider" information about links that us everyday folks do not get access to. Honestly I believe you are wasting your time with this style of marketing, start engaging with real people using twitter, facebook, and google + and posting great content on your main website and watch your rankings soar.
