Well probably not the most interesting, but by all means it is questionable. I was checking out the pr some ad network and the main domain (homepage) has a pr of 2. I was reading an internal page and seo quake shows of pr 7 for that page. Now thats something I have never seen and puzzles me lol |

sometimes it is possible that inner pages have high PR than the main home page and mainly difference can be seen in no. of 1 or 2 not more than that but difference of 5 which also gets me surprise because getting PR 7 is tough task and lots of original content and links require.

It's not that puzzling. Google analyzes "pages." A home page is more likely to have higher pr because "usually" the majority of external and internal links are pointing towards the home page. If there is more link juice pointing at an inner page, then that inner page will have more authority than the home page. Not common, but definitely possible. |
