Your exactly correct, it is a common drummer boy play, they send in a question bot, what is seo, what is ppc, please tell me ppc works or what ever version of a stupid question then usually within minutes you see reply bots also with low or matching post counts come in. The forum is littered with them and you can only report so many in a day. I think drummer boy posts are published here so that hand that feeds gets bitten I suppose.
