using blogspot for SEO

Hi,

It has been discussed earlier but I wanted to confirm the same before proceeding. I have website hosted on one.com and not getting good latency across the globe except US.

Please suggest if following points are valid:
1) You save money on web hosting
2) Simply buy a domain and you are as good as top level domain
3) My website is for java tutorials and doesn't require any advanced PHP, Java or .Net features so Blogspot can be as good as wordpress for me.
4) All major wordpress plugins have alternatives for blogspot also.
5) Blogspot is as good as using CDN because Google has servers across the globe.
6) Getting approved for partners like BuySellAds will not be an issue if we buy a domain name and use it along with Blogspot.
7) There could be more favour to Blogspot hosted websites in Google search results.

Please correct me and advise me accordingly. I am looking to purchase web hosting with multiple domains and blogspot just struck me.

If blogspot is not that good. Please suggest me some alternative web host for website with majority of traffic from India and US.I have $10 monthly budget for web hosting.

I have some confusions regarding your last point. If you receive some favor from google as being hosted in blogspot, you might be in fire with other SE's for the same. I'm not quite sure if it really happens, may be bloggers who receive good search traffic could explain a little bit.

As far I know (and read in forums), most website owners run a few blogs besides their own private domains and many makes money from blogs too.
