hi, i have checked in some remote freelancing sites, some SEO experts, charge $3/ hour to do SEO work. This guy says it will take 3 months to heve my website up to page #2 or 3 on Google: is that correct? im not an expert in IM, this guy quoted me 10 hours/ week for 3 months to do the job.. I just need an opinion thank you ;-) |

Doesn't sound bad assuming that you are targeting a moderately competitive site. I don't know - impossible to really comment without knowing the keyword... But... What is clear is that the person is "reasonable" depending upon what you define to be reasonable. 3 months = 13 weeks. 10 hours per week x 13 weeks = 130 hours. $3 per hour x 130 hours = $390... Not bad... Page-2 actually does not sound far-fetched too. Look, I am going by intuition here in absence of data so you got to take my opinion with a grain of salt. Why don't you also compare the prices around in the forum? Also, remember that so far I have tried to work with a few of the first page rank guarantee services on this forum and none (zero) of them have been successful so far - personally I have given up the whole idea of using ranking guarantee services as of now. |

1. Invest $1. Cut you backlinking by 50%+. Click here. Seduce Google. 2. Find tons of high-commission easy in less than a minute here. 3. War Room release on off-page SEO: Gege Robohop -"Incredible", say Warriors 4. Mindset matters. Look at my last year - nothing to do with IM. | |

The general saying applies in this case: you get what you pay for. Promoting your product is the most important part of the project, which means if you decided to go with SEO, you should not cheap out on it... Otherwise it will show.

Really difficult to say without more data. Might be something you need to test out a little. Why not check out some of the SEO methods on the forum, perhaps do some work yourself and find what works then outsource the methods that you know are effective. At least then you know the work being done is effective because you've tested it personally. I know this can seem like a slog but in the long run this will be very good for your business. |

Hi, I have to agree with richrowley. Until you know what you need, you shouldn't just pay someone when you have no idea what work needs to be done, nor how long it takes. You need to know what to ask for because SEO is such a broad topic. |

It depends on a number of factors as to whether this SEO expert is providing good value, but might I add that IF he actually was an SEO expert, it is likely he would be able to earn significantly more then just $3 per hour. If the keyword competition is medium or low then an investment of $390 should really go towards a target of the top of the first page. I'd go as far as to say most sites with low-medium competition should be able to reach page 2-3 on a budget of just $100 if you are willing to a do things yourself. Regards Will |
