|  What is video sitemap and how to do this?
I have video on my website, and would like to post on Vimeo and you tube , here I came across new term video sitemap, is it like sitemap.xml? kindly give me some information on this how to make use of it for my SEO?

You can try check this video sitemap tutorial, but generally speaking video sitemaps is just yet another kind of XML sitemap like image sitemaps, mobile sitemaps, news sitemaps etc. (i.e. XML sitemaps tailored for a specific kind of content.)

Video sitemap help google to show a thumbnail of your video in SERP if you have on your site video that is NOT a Youtube video. Basically you can use this to increase CTR from SERP to your website. |
