Competitor made my friends Adsense account banned

This is a story of my friend (he is not a member of this forum, but he asked me to post this here to get some help).

My friend made 3 Adsense sites in all in the same niche.

Keyword "blabla1" - competitor was ranking 1st
Keyword "blabla2" - SAME competitor was ranking 1st
Keyword "blabla3" - SAME competitor was ranking 3rd

However, my friend gave it a shot and tried to "overtake" those spots with great backlinks campgains. Eventually, he was 1st for all those keywords. He was making ~1500$ per month and everything seemed OK.

One day, this competitor (who was rankig 1st,1st and 3rd before my friend) clickbombed all of his adsense sites to death. Some days later, my friend got banned from Adsense.

Sad story, but is there anything to get unbanned? Or avoid this kind of "bull****" in the future? It seems SOOO unfair..

Same thing happened to me last year or so and unfortunatly when you are banned its Game over after appeal to Google Unless he can prove this evidence from other sources such as competitors Ip address or website log.

Google does not give second chances he better to start CPA or some other format.

Attempting to have Google reverse the ban isn't even worth the effort.

He can open up a business account/personal account (whichever he wasn't using previously).

I'm sure there are tools that can be used to protect a user by only allowing ads to be clicked 'x' number of times by the same IP.

It's not THAT easy to clickbomb into an adsense ban.

Yes but there are ways to block the same IP from multiple clicking your ads, there is a program for that

IMO if you have adsense on your sites and you DONT have that also
you are insane

too easy to get bombed

whats the name of that program? Curious if long time Adsense masters like Yukon use this

Annoying is that is a site gets attacked you cannot ask Google why?

We have heard of this before but I thought this was a little far fetched in the past.

Google does have systems to prevent this happening but then people who carry out these tasks have systems to get around things also.

Yes its not a complicated program, but apparently this thread has run its course

just make a new thread saying, "any way to prevent clickbombing my Adsense pages?

I just searched a bit on google and found this Adsense Click Fraud Protection Anti Click Bomb

However, I have no idea if it works or makes you in safe.

I think Google mostly takes care of it theirselves and just won't count the clicks, I read multiple times that it works like that so guess there is a little more needed to get your account banned. Many people claim to be innocent when they get banned but I wonder if thats really the case as I know guys with 1000+ MFA sites and they never got banned despite of their crappy content / design / brands in url and what not.

This is bull*. Google doesn't ban you for invalid clicks. $ 1500 per month seems high, maybe it was using black-hat seo.

If you read the adsense forums and so, lately there have been huge amount of adsense users being banned because of clickbombing.

Hey, do you really think if it was so EASY to ban some website, there would be a war between competitors ?

I hired a writer from Pakistan for a new site . Then he clickbombed me ( easy to see it s him, as no visitors yet , except him to post a few articles )and voila.. adsense blocked..
And what me to do now?

If you're ever in the middle of getting click bombed an email to support should cover your ass, I have sent an e-mail to support about this before.

competitors clicking your sites out is a common occurrence. I had several sites click bombed and lost a few accounts. I started using AdsenseDefender.com to protect my sites.

Just to have the competitor's Adsense banned doesn't help the slightest in the SERPs. Why would any person in his senses want to do it? Adsense or no Adsense, the #1 position would make money anyway.

My Adsense account was recently banned apparently for invalid click activity and certainly was not me.

The day before I looked at a brand new site and it onlty showed 1 actual click then the next day i got an email saying account suspended. I appealed but they still said no go. They do not even actually tell you what happened it makes no sense and is totally unfair.

Sometimes I wonder how much is this really true or it is based off what people are doing behind the scenes that they wont admit too.

Like why is your twitter account suspended also?

3 years ago my site was in my signature for AOL chat. A friend thought he would be helping out by clicking on ads. They banned me after five days. I had no idea he was even doing it. It may be easy income but it certainly doesn't seem like that strong of a business model if bans can happen that quickly.
