Just wondering what others have experienced and hopefully can answer my question. I have had a brand specific jewelry info site that has been up for a year. Until recently I have only been rank in bing and yahoo for the past year because I havent done any seo. While on bing and yahoo I hve had relavent ads pretaining to that specific jewelry desinger on my site. Recently I have done alot of seo and have been able to get to the top three on google. along with that I have added alot more content to the site to make it better as well. As soon as I have made these changes I now have notice I no longer am getting any relavent ads to that specific designer and my ctr went from 15-18% down to about 2-3%. I just dont understand the reason to it all, now that I am getting 3 times more the traffic it all goes down hill. My main page still has the same layout and all I did was add more content and boost my google rankings. Any ideas as to what causes this?

Oddly, my adsense revenue went up 75%. but yesterday it went back down to the average. But I noticed some changes.

Are you using a plugin to place your Ads on your site? Also, you can find what type of ads its showing on that certain page and look to see if there is any text on your page that relates to whats showing. Then just use adsense targetting code and block the section that has that text What is section targeting and how do I implement it? - AdSense Help |

I am not using any plugin at all just what I have been using all this time. I can tell you that I breifly changed the content of my home page for a day and then switched it back to what it was before. Does that play any part to what may have occurred? | |

It could be but only temporarily. If you done this a while back(more than a couple days) and it still doesn't show, then it's not it. I had this problem before with some sites, but it was from the beginning of placing the codes on the sites. I also found that it was picking up some random text on the page rather than the overall general theme text of the page so I just placed the adsense placement code that blocks a certain parts of your text and that worked for me

The link in my first post tells all about it. But basically yeah. You can target a piece of text for the @dsense display to use or you can also block a certain piece of text from being used to show ads.

Because I am now on the same page as the advertiser that I made the most with, I'm actually rite below them. I have a feelings that may have blocked me or maybe once your on the same page as them the ads to @adsense may stop on my page. Dont know just speculating..

You could try fresh ad code. Recreate your ad code in your Adsense interface and start new and see if there was any glitch in the coding.
