Default Was all of my back linking a waste of time?

I just discovered my website and pages have not been indexed.

Was all of my back linking a waste of time?

I just submitted it to pingler. I wanted to find something fast and easy for getting it indexed. Any tips would help.

I used this: IsMySiteIndexed.com

Did you buy this domain as a new domain or was it pre-existing that you bought from some one else.

If you bought from some one else it's possible that it was already de-indexed by Google.

If you're backlinks are generated from forums, I'm sorry to tell you that forums nowadays are implementing the "=NOFOLLOW" forums. They tell the spiders to don't follow links so even if you are allowed to input links to your signature, it will not be counted. Try making a decent technique if you are doing this way. You can try submitting articles = 1 article per 1 directory because Google will not acknowledge you once they know that you are spamming different directories with the same article. If you have any question, just let me know. I would be happy to assist you.

I used this: IsMySiteIndexed.com
  1. How do you know your sites pages are not indexed?
  2. How old are your sites pages?

Remember, these two searches don't always return the same search results.
  1. site:www.domain.com
  2. site:domain.com

What kind of backlinks did you create? Were they dofollow, contextual, on high PR domains?

You can do that but I prefer to keep all of my sites away from Google's analytics and webmaster.

Just add quality content and quality backlinks and you'll be fine.

The same thing happened to me. I put links in all my youtube videos, on facebook, and all over forums. Turns out each and every one of those links have been NoFollow links.

So now I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what is up with a system where all my good high visibility links are actually invisible to google!

that's true....try searching both types.

For fast indexing, I use Internet Marketing & SEO Forum - IMT Website Submitter It's a free tool that submits to over 2.500 "who is" websites

The IMT site does work. I've used it and usually found my sites got indexed very quickly.

I dont look at anything being a mistake or a failure but more of a lesson, learn from what you did and try something else when building links or whatever it is your doing in life.
