Adding a blog

I would like to add a blog to my existing local service website. I have been writing articles all over and feel that I would be better off adding the unique content to my site.

I am wondering if there is a way I can add a blog to my site without it being to intrusive to the end user experience? I have seen people use them before and they just looked spammy (I also see them get results and that is why I'm interested)

Yes Wordpess is very powerful for seo.

Is it possible to add a blog to each of my landing pages individually? I would like to somehow make them more content rich. I would like to somehow put it in a small scrolling window that can then open up and be expanded (in the even someone wanted to read the blog)

I have seen local service sites here use a separate blog page and it works quite well but it looks super spammy and tends to outrank any landing page they have.
