Default What Are Your Thoughts On Using Authority Sites?

Hey Warriors,

As this is my first post, I would like to say hello to everyone! I have a question about a conversation that I was having with a fellow marketer about. Is it smart to submit an article to a high authority site such as ezinearticles and then build high quality backlinks to this article to rank in Google?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, but you shouldn't send all of your articles to Ezine.. There are other 7-10 authority article directories woth also...

You should consider ordering a submission service (or using an automated software) to have it sent to 100, 200+ directories...

Everything you can do will be worth it

No, it's a bad idea IMO.

If you submit an article to EZA & then build backlinks to that EZA article your doing nothing except putting money in EZAs pocket.

In terms of SEO, authority sites in your niche will be much more beneficial.

Authority sites in your would be much more beneficial than any old links however article directories do have many categories that are relative. As stated above you should submit your article to a number of directories not rely on just the one. However, I disagree that creating links to these is only putting money into the site owners pocket - creating a bit of link love to your backlinks is generally a good idea as it gets these links noticed.

Because my sites are mostly centered around health niches, my current strategy (what I'm doing right now) is to build 10 mini sites closely related to my money sites. These will be real sites with real, unique content. They won't have ads (at least until they rank), but they will have occasional natural links to my "real" sites. I've already built 5. Then I will use fiverr to build link wheels/pyramids to those sites.

If they start to rank, I will probably add adsense, but right now I just want to create sites similar to my money sites because a link from a similar site carries more weight.

I don't recommend link wheels at all as they leave a large obvious footprint that Google and other SERPS frown upon as trying to "game" the system.

That's a sure way to get devalued.

Authority sites are always good for attracting traffic to your site. You shold make a practice to submit your contents on the authorized directory like ezine and many more....
