I had a same question. I searched a bit on the forum and found that AMR should be a better choice since it's easier to use and you don't have any extra fees, since scrapebox needs proxy services..
Make sure you import your own list to AMR since they common one is pretty useless..

so if you still have to import your own list with AMR, (which you do also with scrapebox) what makes it any different than scrapebox?

They are completely different pieces of software.

You need to figure out what your SEO plan is first, then pick tools that complement that plan. Don't make a plan around whichever tool you decide to buy. That is just a recipe for failure.

Between the two, Scrapebox is a far more useful tool overall, but again, they do completely different things.

What are you looking to do with link building? Blog Comments or articles?
Anyway scrapebox is a very useful tool.

I use scrapebox more for doing research on where to put my links then to automatically build links.

AMR is only to build links and the quality of those links isn't that great either.

They both do different things, apples oranges.

Scrapebox I would recommend first because its a way more versatile internet marketing tool, more-so than AMR.

Scrapebox is Better as Compared to AMR. but Both Tools have Separate Jobs..One use for Article Contextual links..and Scrapebox you use for Blog comments, EDU links Gov links and others..

If you have to pick just one, Scrapebox by a mile.

It's the ultimate Swiss Army Knife type of tool for IM'ers. I barely go a day without using it.

Does both in combination works faster?? I mean how much time it takes for you to rank for a 2000 exact search vol keyword?? competition medium.

Is it good to have BMR AND Scrapebox?

Completely agree with this. AMR - For article backlinks. BMD - or equivalent for social bookmarking backlinks and Scrapebox for everything else

Whether you are gray, white or anything else hat you absolutely need scrapebox. Jack-of-all-trades is exactly what it is. I use all these tools, but I do have a question? Anyone not using these and still ranking in high competitive markets? I couldn't see that as possible with so many marketers using these tools. Its like bringing a knife to a gun fight.

However if anyone is currently killing it online without these I would love to hear about it.

Yes. Even if you never use SB to build backlinks it's got a TON of other uses.
