Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the internet marketing game, just trying to make a little extra money online. I made a blog about this online game and for the past week its been getting around 30 clicks a day. I have some advertisements on the site that link to a guide related to the game the blog is about. But out of the 300 or so visits I've gotten this month so far only about 20 people have clicked the ad and I'm not getting any sales. My questions is what would you guys do to make money with this blog. Should i just keep with what I'm doing and give it more time? or would using Google ad sense be better way of making money. or maybe I was thinking try to find a better product to promote that has catchier ads. Thanks guys! |

Hey. It seems like your blog is getting traffic but not making any affiliate sales. What you should probably do is .. 1. Put adsense and see if it is worth it. Not sure what you niche is but the CPC might be good, or it might be junk. All depends. 2. Build an opt in email list for your product and continue selling and building a relationship with that email list. -Omar |

First and foremost - add more content. You'll get more traffic. Good luck. |

Go to Forums like Yahoo Answers, find questions which are related your game and answer those questions, don`t spam , add your page link on your answer post. Here you go... free targeted traffic! And potential buyers! Cheers |

Your biggest problem, besides low traffic, is that your ad has little to do with your content. You are going to have low conversions with that. Considering your traffic, a $6 or $7 guidebook about the game specifically would probably convert better than a $50 get rich quick scheme that some cryptic video tells you little to nothing about. |

In the long run I like your idea about a cheap little $6 or $7 eBook, but in the short run do you think I can make money by changing the ad back to the Starcraft 2 guide? I dont have a lot of free time to work on this so making that game guide would end up taking me a good while, while I would be working on it you got any ideas how to make money with what I got going now? Say it take me 1 week to make that guide, over the course of a week I can get about 300 visitors to my blog, isn't there some way to make money off those 300 visitors? I'm not looking to make millions, just a little extra cash. Thanks | ||
