Usually if i write a press release with a long tail keyword i will rank in top 3 within 10 minutes of submitting.

We've had good results from them too. When we post a press release there it very quickly shows up in our Google alerts, so they must be doing something right.

Alright, that was so simple. I think it took me less than 15 minutes from start to finish. It wouldn't let me embed my anchor text / URL, but I still got a live link in it.

I used an encoded article (like articles I sell on Fiverr for 5 for $5) so it appears 100% original and unique.

I dunno. Hubpages is kind of strict on affiliates so i never use them

Yes. Im usually in top 3 of the long tail keyword i go for. It has to be low competition though

For a medium competion keyword, you should try at least 3 different Press Releases websites, not just this one. Congrats for your success with this website

What keyword is it ranking for? I typed in the entire title:

Learning Easy Guitar Songs Is Fun and Educational

and do not see you at all in google. I see it at #6 in yahoo.

Yep, double checked the first 5 pages and gave up (personalized results turned off). I saw this "method" a few months ago and had a hunch that being a press release the ranking would be VERY short term.

It is now the 15th so it would seem that i was correct. Did you see a decent amount of traffic from this? Also did you do any backlinking to it?

Okay, it's looks like in this Panda era, google give more love to Press Release rather than ezinearticles and other articles directories etc

prlog still knocking about in the top three for a few of my niches after 2 years plus. They seemed to take a knock a year or so ago but they're back with a vengeance.
Like always, use the usual caveats of not putting all of your eggs into any one external basket - but, yes, they still seem like a valuable property that has some kahunas in Google's eyes.

When i create a press release i don't mess with it after that. No backlinks or anything.

I had submitted a couple of press releases already on PRLog.org and both are now getting decent views. But the problem is that PRLog now limits me from publishing more press releases right now.

Are there any other free PR sites like PRLog.org that gives me decent number of views and good click-through rates on the link I promote?
