But here are a few tips.

Pick your top primary keywords.
Pick some long tail secondary keywords.

There are no exact numbers involved. You want to make sure you have:
-a decent quantity of relevant content
-an ongoing number of diverse backlinks

You do want to ensure your keywords are included on your website an appropriate number of times, but avoid keyword stuffing.

You do want to ensure your keywords are used as your anchor text, but you want to ensure you are using alternative anchor texts (like other keywords, keywords with similar meanings, as well as anchor like "click here" or "visit" etc).

You will beat your competitors for your keywords when you are seen to be more relevant than them for your chosen keyword.

If you are competing against well-established and regularly updated websites, then it may be that the keyword you have chosen will simply be too much work to rank for.

It is being common among us (seo family) to get Page Rank within few weeks or months. My friend, if your web content is genuine, well structured webpage design, properly used mate and HTML tag, interlink of pages and good number of backlinks will automatically help your site to achieve Page Rank. But, I am not sure about 1 month, 2 month or more.

Its really tough to get in Google 1 but its not impossible so you need to be patience.Try following tips:
