What is/are your favorite ways of getting back links anyone?

Just want to ask what are your favorite ways of getting one way back links
and why?

Mine: used to be forums, but they can be easily removed or get yourself banned
Now, blogs posts or article submissions

How about yours?

I have had a lot of success with article submission and blog posting...I'll keep on keeping on as long as it works. Social networking has been really good to me, too.

Are you referring to traafic from those sources directly or using those methods to build backlinks and increase your ranking?

I've found everything works - as long as you're adding something! If you're just spamming, then your blog comments won't last long - if they even get posted. But if you contribute to the conversation, you'll get a lot of links that way!

It depends how you do that. For example, with access to network of blogs you are submitting one piece of content and plug it in for republishing on, let's say, 30 niche blogs.

One great post = 30 blog posts on different blogs = 60 one way backlinks.

I use directory submission & bookmarking site submission.

But, these 2 methods not work very well with Google. All the backlinks are shown in both Yahoo & MSN. But, they're not counted as backlinks in Google.

I think Google just seem to have higher standard on counting backlink.

The best way is to find some "With Follow" blogs and post relevant comments there. In this way, you get very good quality backlink.

I guess all these marketing strategies would work fine as long as you do it the professional way not just merely advertising but create and build a good reputation to its communities to be recognized and from there you could easily produce quality backlinks.

I agree with this sentiment across the board. It applies to comments made in forums like this one, and it applies to any articles you may write and distribute. So long as you are contributing something useful to the internet community, whatever method you undertake for building links will pay you dividends.

But if you try the opposite approach of selfishly grabbing any link you can for the sake of grabbing a link, you will soon be discovered and most or all of your effort will be wiped out.
