I am interested in learning more about the free strategies that you use...basically how many article directories do you use to get that kind of traffic. I had tried one of those article submitters which submits to 500-1000 directories but found it not worth my time.

Google ad words is effective although can be expensive if your not too sure what your doing as you will be charged per click that is everytime someone clicks on your link.

Make a short video Ad, write a good title and description with your main keywords in them and upload it through Tube Mogul or Traffic Geyser. But don’t stop there, you need to promote the videos as well. Embed the videos from these websites into Blog Post, and Social Media websites such as facebook, squidoo, wet paint, etc. Be sure to include keywords in the title and text of the post. Ping all the video pages, blog post, and social media pages and bookmark them in various Social Bookmarking websites.

SEO is nice and all and should never be neglected but I don't know anyone likes to sit around for months building backlinks in order to rank for anything organically (thats worth ranking for in the long run).

So it is always nice to get some immediate traffic while the search engines lazily raise you up in the ranks.

So for fast results...

1. PPC

In literally less than 10 minutes you can set up a campaign and start driving traffic to your site to start getting some good statistics. Why wait for months of trickling traffic before you have enough data to see if your website is working.

2. Forum Posting

If you want to succeed in any niche then you'll have to know your stuff. And if you're active in some of the top niche forums, you'll learn real quick if you (and your website) really know your stuff and whether or not people find it valuable. Again, this is immediate feedback that you can use to see where you stand.

3. Youtube

This is one of the best investments you can make for the money if you know what you are doing. Another instant stream of traffic that is free and typically will last for quite a long time.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't like build a website and wait months to figure out if it is up to par or if I need to make some changes to improve conversions. I'd rather have the data up front so I can #1, make money early and #2, make more money later.
