2. SEOing the blog with articles, links and bookmarking.
3. Sending PPC/SEO traffic to landing pages and then promoting the site to my lists.

It's far better to stick to around 3 core strategies and focus your efforts rather than spreading your time and money on all the latest ideas. Do the basics correctly and regularly and you'll see your traffic grow exponentially. Do a "little bit" of a lot of things and you'll end up chasing your tail and going nowhere fast!

To all the people using Press releases for traffic, does the traffic actually convert to sales?
Im very curious to this because press releases cost so much and yet allot of people use them for marketing.

It all depends on what you are marketing. Personally, my favorite uses for press releases are:

1. Driving traffic to an online store.

2. Driving Traffic to a blog

3. Driving traffic to a newly launched product.

Should you decide to do a press release, I highly recommend Prweb. And I stress that you take advantage of their package that allows you to add video.

Lastly, unless you can write, outsorce the writing of your press release.

I assume all the traffic is press related...people like journalists right?
