I received the unnatural links penalty for one of my websites. I think i was penalised because i built the links to quickly. I used AMR with spun content and some forum profile links. Does anyone think that either one was the cause or both and do i have to remove all the links before submitting a re-consideration request ? The site was only 3 weeks old ? Any ideas would be appreciated ? Thanks Marc |

Marc, I would probably remove them, and do some changes on your site before you submitted your re-consideration request. In your re-consideration request, tell them in detail exactly all of the steps you have taken to be in compliance with what their guidelines are. I'm sure there are other people who can share some other ideas as well but that is my 2 cents worth. *grin*

At 3 weeks old, I would trash and redo the entire site on a new domain. It's not worth it to continue. This time, link build it right. I've been trying to re-rank the sites with "unnatural links penalties" and it's difficult. I was able to rank a new site higher than the original within 2 weeks. These "penalized" or devalued sites are now harder to rank, based on my experience. Anyone see contrary results? |

Do not use Google webmaster tools! if the site is de-indexed than just trash it and change the domain name. Don't waste your time to submit for Google reconsideration!

Of course you know the low quality and fast links you made for your site and the solution is clear. I suggest you to delete those backlinks as much as you can and only keeps quality ones and then submit a reconsideration request for Google and i think this issue will be fixed after some weeks.

Too many back links for a new website is not a good idea. It would be better for you to remove links that you made in excess from some low quality or irrelevant websites. Number of links on the same anchor text, from some of the particular sites is not good. So, after removing links you can send reconsideration request. Make sure that you build links from different seo sources/domains in future

Once your site is hit with the Unnatural links penalty, it takes weeks and even months to remove the penalty. Since your site is only FEW weeks old, I would advise you to move on with a new domain and new contents. It's not worth your effort to manually remove the penalty, etc.

Did you actually lose rankings or get deindexed? I got the notice as well, didn't affect anything, though

Lol. Don't give up on it. Just put decent content on the site. Any penalty will dissapear in the end, nothing much happens quickly in this game, 90 days perhaps, just don't do it again. Good content, a few links a page, couple of pages a day, then move on, come back in 90 days. Learn from the mistake. |

Yes you should remove Unnatural Back-links for website if possible or if its too costly for removal of back-links then send a list of bad link of your website not to considered but before that you should makes your web pages more healthy with good content .Building Back-links in Aggressive and too early definitely puts you under penguin .From a Discussion and anlysis it being clear website have 35% to 50% back-links with brand Name/URL are safe and cosidered to be natural linking . So don't be aggressive to come up with Search ranking too early just by targeting your money links .Mix-up keywords with urls and brand text.

Start from scratch, meaning buy new domain and add fresh unique content! In no way you can remove all bad backlinks from your current site. It's not possible believe me. |

Though shall not use again automatic software like AMR and Magic Submitter. They have been considered as spam in the eyes of Google. Do natural linking. As of today, its all about relevance.
