When search engine crawlers read websites, are they differentiating between back links formatted with different front end extensions or do search engines pay no regard to how the link is formatted?

What do you mean "front end extensions"? At any rate, SE's do take note of keywords in URL.

For instance do search engines see a difference between how a link is formatted? I'm sorry I can't post a full example because I'm under 15 post and unable to post "links." I'm simply referring to the way you format a link when its submitted/posted on a site. If this is unclear let me know, its difficult without being able to post "link" examples. |
