Well can you be more specific as to what the product on the website will be? There are many ways to generate traffic and market a website but understanding the product ande the target marketing is essential to know where is the best place to be visible. Can you give a little more information about your product?

I agree with everyone else, but to add another promotion avenue I would suggest using free press release sites, and if there are any in your niche, to promote via Yahoo and Google groups.

If I'm the person who is going to do this, then this is the way I will do but little expensive for others

I won't mind spending money If I'm seeing Instant result.
Note : depends on what NICHE you are offering.

1. advt. on ebay like clissified ads an normal auction.
2. use PPC promotion code from Google, MSN and yahoo (Instant result)
3. Use wordpress script along with plug-in to monitize your traffic, adsense plugns, seo plugins.

Yahoo and MSN won't cost too much for PPC. I often use promotional code to bring Instant lead.

Yeah - don't use it unless you are ready to burn a hole in you credit card.

However, if you make the pages you point your ads too really relevant - an I mean 110% relevant then your cost per click does reduce.
