Is Media.net is just like a Google Adsense program? I have gone through some other ad publisher network where they only accept the U.S. and Canadian publisher but not the Asian countries and others.

While we can monetize global traffic (including traffic from india), we are currently unable to add customers based out of India. Our Indian company is registered as a 100% export oriented unit, and hence we are unable to service customers based out of India for the time being. We hope to be able to support this market in or around Q4 2012.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Media.net is a scam affiliate also made by Indians guy. I have a site that have 95% of taffic from US (organic traffic from search engine) and they close my account because "i have low quality traffic" LOL.

In fact my account reached pay limit and they instead to pay me, closed the account.

I suggest you stay away from this affiliate network.

      Good luck!

        Ah, really?
I just got accepted with them and I tested out their ads.

As far as traffic quality, it is in their terms of service that your traffic must be 90% from Canada, US, and UK. Closing your account and not paying you really sucks though.

      Hi Andrew,

How much traffic per month is required in order to get accepted into your network? I applied about 4 months ago and was rejected because my site didn't have enough traffic. The email said that the minimum payout amount needs to be $250.

      thanks

I have added Yahoo Bing Media.net ads on my site (from India) and has worked out well till now. The contact sales person was also very helpful. See this post on Yahoo Bing Media.net ads an image of earnings from them - . Can't say they have gone better than adsense, but it is on par as far as earnings are concerned.
As per a post above, media.net only planned to service Indian customers only by end of 2012. So it could well be that I didn't have any problems because they are now ready for India

P.S. I have not got a payment till now as I didn't enter payment details. Just experimented in Jan so will update after Feb about any earning issues.

The blog itself used adsense instead of media.net

You could end up getting banned from Adsense, your running Adsense & media.net contextual Ads on the same page (link above), both Ads look the same. I guess the link you posted is your site.

Google ads on the same page with other ads

You're welcome to display Google ads on the same site or page as other third party advertisements provided that the formatting or colors of the third party ads is different enough from that of the Google ads. In other words, if you choose to place non-Google ads on the same site or page as Google ads, it should always be clear to the user that the ads are served by different advertising networks and that the non-Google ads have no association with Google. If the formats are naturally similar, we ask that you choose different color schemes for the competing ads.
