Heyas, I have an AdWords account that has 7 campaigns with low CTR (about 0,05% with over 1 Mio Impressions), there were also some keywords with low Quality Score. I deleted those now, but they got the traffic.
I just started a new campaign and got an initial first bid of $1.25 for a keyword that has a normal bid of $0.30 (it shows that in the traffic estimator and also on my other Adwords Account) Basically it's the same as described here: Google Adwords Account History I know the best way would probably to start a new Adwords account. But since this account is my main google account, I would not like to quit the Adwords here so easily. So my question is this: has anybody "saved" his Adwords account from a poor accound history to a good one again? Meaning getting good bids with a good managed quality score? Is it worth the try or will it take ages? |

Did someone made it back from a not so stellar account history in adwords?

If you have any low performing keywords there is a probability of depleting your account .
The main point here is that you should have good performance of all your keywords throughout out your account . I hope it helps. Mike |

Thx! In this setup, all old campaigns are on pause now. The one new campaign is very tight and has a few good keywords (quality score is 7). But the initial bid is way to high and it's most likely because of the account history.
So what can you do here? |
