If you are chasing more traffic, make sure you are chasing targeted traffic.

You can make sales from a small number of visitors to your site. You don't need 5000 visitors. Hey - you could easily get sales with 20 or 30 visitors a day.

This is one of the biggest mistakes newbies make. They think they need a ton of visitors.

OK - if you are making money from Adsense you do need lots of visitors to make it work.

You maybe better trying to make money from a more expensive product - like $27 and laser targeting potential buyers.

This way you could get 30 or 40 people a day visiting and make sales, if the landing page is good and you have all the other boxes ticked when it comes to good conversions.

Remember, quality makes all the difference.

I took a look at your blog and wanted to compliment you on how visually pleasing it is. Also, I really enjoyed your traffic ideas. This is what I really struggle with. I can't seem to do things on a consistent enough basis to sustain traffic. It's like I need a structured schedule to follow. I'd appreciate any advice on the steps to take to build traffic, and keep it coming. I probably need to narrow my focus.

Your absolutely right. I have a narrow niche related to the bridal industry. I average about 20-30 clicks per day, I make 2 - 3 sales per day, nets me $100 and just keeps crusing along.

Narrow niche, lazer targeted traffic = $$$ in the bank.

Yes - you need to do things daily. However - it does slowly snow ball and you get more hits everyday.

Try posting comments on other people's blogs - post relevant comments - detailed ones that add good value. Participate in all the blogs you can find in your niche - the ones that are good quality.

Leave links back to your site and you will get traffic. It takes about 2 or 3 mins a day to make 1 good comment. Do this every day for a week and slowly you will get traffic.

When I discovered this it made a difference to my efforts online. Targeted is the way to go for sure.

Yes, certainly in PPC. The more targeted the better otherwise it will cost you $'s will little returns.

Short answer is - you can't !

Some rules are;

1. Keep you ads above the page fold. (There are different poinions about this)

2. Try testing different colors for the ads

3. Try many layouts.
