pyramidal backlinks and link juice

Hi,

Dear fellow warriors, would you please to help better understanding how linkjuice flows up and down of a pyramidal backlinks or a linkwheel?

Is it really interesting to make pyramidal backlinks such as: pageA -> pageB -> $Site
instead of pageA -> $site and pageB -> $site ?
What would be the difference in link juice and is it instant passing ?

if pageB is not under my own domain, making backlinks to pageB using the pyramidal schema won't let my site looses some link juice and give it less power ?

What is the best pyramidal structure to build and is there supporting software to build pyramids?

Is it really safe if I make blasts of 1,000,000 backlinks to the 3rd tier of a pyramid and my money site would be safe and will get the best of linkjuince of those 1,000,000 backlinks?

    Wow a lot of questions here. In a nutshell link juice gets divided by how many outgoing links are on a page. So when you do a link pyramid you definitely loose some of the juice that you would get if you did the linking direct. The reason why link pyramids are so great though is because you are able to benefit off of mass quantities of low quality links while keeping your money site safe.

    If you tried to blast your money site with 100,000 blog comments you'd most likely get slapped right out of the SERP's. If you build a few hundred tier 1 links then blast all those with 100,000 comments then your money site will be safe and you'll gain a good amount of juice. The other thing is in the last few months Google has been weighting links coming from high quality (high PR) pages disproportionately to low quality. So here's a very crude example.

    - Site A -
    1000 pr 0 links -->Money Site

    -Site B-
    200 pr 0 links--->Tier 1--->Money Site
    200 pr 0 links--->Tier 1--->Money Site
    200 pr 0 links--->Tier 1--->Money Site
    200 pr 0 links--->Tier 1--->Money Site
    200 pr 0 links--->Tier 1--->Money Site

    Site B will probably rank better then Site A. Although site A in theory should have more link juice there is no quality there. Google will usually judge the Tier 1's coming into site B as higher quality since they themselves have links coming in.

    Link juice is not made up by the sum of its parts. 1000 of the same PR 0 links divided differently can mean totally different results. Sorry this stuff can be pretty confusing and its tough to explain.

    My humble suggestion is to NOT build too many links quickly. Please build/drip feed your links Consistenly and progressively.

    example: if you are building 25 links/day then PLS keep it around that rate. Quality matters BUT not quantity.

      Thank you very much for taking your time to answer my question. May I add one more question: which kind of pages/sites should be used for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd tiers. I see many suggest to use web 2.0, social bookmarks and social media... how to organize all this and how to make mixture of them. What could be the advantages of each kind of those tiers. what is the advantages of web 2.0 versus social media pages for example?
