Default **Risky** yet Highly Effective AdSense Optimization Technique

Ok, Disclaimer: The following is a risky technique that could potentially raise an eyebrow if someone from the google adsense team were to look at your site. You have been warned.

Do a blog post or write an article that has 4 tips. Use "4 tips for [keyword phrase here]" for your title and position a large adsense ad block right underneath the title, and the rest of your article underneath the ad.

So your title says "4 Tips..." and right underneath there's a list of 4 relevant things in the adsense block. Of course, beneath that is the actual article with 4 tips in it.

You would not believe how much this little gem of a layout/mindf**k tweak has boosted my adsense ctr

He does mention adding the article under the adsense block.

What's so sneaky about this? Nothing...It's perfectly acceptable and will not raise any eyebrows.

If the headline title is deceiving and is written to entice clicks Google will not be pleased.

That will get you in trouble but you can tweak it a little and be within "da rules".

You're already using color to separate it from content. Add text, preferably smaller, small caps, font, between the title and the Adsense block that says 'Advertisements'. This should make it compliant without hurting your CTR significantly.

This might get you banned from adsense because it comes under the category of " misleading the visitor into clicking an ad" .. however, nice idea.
