An Observation From Link Submission

I'm sure many of you are aware of this, however I wish I had realized this as I submit and promote SEO targeted keyword articles to social bookmarking sites.

I have a content site which is targeted to a niche with good long string keywords and I've been submitting to social networks to boost backlinks. One thing to keep in mind: DO NOT put your keyword string as the title for submission to the social networks. What this has done for a few articles (glad I noticed now) is rank them higher than me because they obviously have a better PR and more inbound links.

This may seem extremely obvious to many, however I just wanted to share to anyone just getting into this form of backlink generation through social networks.

Granted the articles do point to my site and yes, they will eventually disappear from some of the social networks, but hopefully you can avoid my mistake!
