Regarding to a PM i just got:

You can of course spice it up with some graphics.

but make sure you have the H1 and H2 headline somewhere (so don't just replace the headline with a banner) and also make sure you have the proper alt-attributes for your graphics (and give your gfx "talking" filenames, like eg "your-keyword-logo.jpg").
While those alt-att's doesn't really help for SEO, they add to the users surfing-experience and IMHO google gives some weight to that - talk about barrier-free design. At least that's what *I* noticed.

I have a question for you, however. I usually have the following naming convention. What do you think, is it SE friendly?

The spiders and visitors WON'T see the 'index.php' in the address bar, but it's there.

Nicely put together Chris, but still a few things missing.

you don't mention anything about the title attribute for links

you don't mention anything about canonical URL's inside your pages

you don't mention anything about rss feeds

you don't mention anything about using rss feeds as part of your subscriptions to bring members back to your website.

you don't mention anything about creating a ror.xml file (a search engine sitemap designed for search engines only)

I've also noticed your H1 tag is the same text for all your pages.

your site loads with www. and non-www, this confuses the search engine and can take longer to index your pages since it needs to go through a filtering process, the more you help the search engines the faster they will index you if you dot all the I's and cross all the T's

you don't use the canonical link rel attirubute in your header tag

you've also used css on the page, ideally they should be on a different file linked to the css. page loads faster.

you've got too much html junk on your page, makes it heavy, ie, bgcolor="ffffff" in your tags, not needed, use css files.

you don't use the title attribute in your b, il, u, i, h1, h2, etc tags

you're using tables, try using div tag sites, less code, faster loading pages

il and ul are now obsolete, try using DD, DT, etc, it's a new format for lists, plus search engines prefer these better, not many people know this, these tags only came into use about 8-9 months ago.

I talk about all of this in my 19 part SEO Video series of all of above and more. including proper site structure - free.

But still, very nicely put together.

yup, search engines would prefer you did that for, as the index page is for, to index a series of items on the page, and only name a page that has the information on it.

so when you do your linking, it should be domain.com/kw1/ and leave the index.php out
