Hi Guys, I want to separate Google Search and Google Partners in my Adwords Campaigns because I don't think the Partners will convert as well and probably should have a lower bid at the very least. Unfortunately Google doesn't allow you to bid differently as you can with the Content Network. What I hope you guys can maybe help me with is finding a workaround. I've heard someone saying you can set up 2 campaigns that are exactly the same. Campaign #1 would be Google Search only and Campaign #2 would be the Google Search + Partners. Then you bid lower on Campaign #2 so that Google shows Campaign #1 for the searches done on Google and Campaign #2 for the searches done on the Partners. Then by tracking you can gauge the effectiveness of Partners versus Search and see if it is worth doing and if the 2 campaigns need different bidding strategies. Is this the correct way to do it? Also, if this is the correct way to do it, is their a good 'rule of thumb' for what is worth paying on Search versus Content? For example, if bidding $0.50 for a click on Search would $0.35 be a good did on Content? (i.e 70% roughly?) Best Wishes and Thanks For All Replies, Kenneth |
