Hi, I want to know what is the fastest way to duplicate a campaign in Adwords? For example, if you want to have the same keywords and adverts etc but 3 separate campaigns for USA, UK and Canada then what is the easiest way to copy the exact campaign and use it to create another one? It seems so time consuming to do it manually so I wonder if there is a quicker way, possibly using Adwords Editor? It just seems like your throwing profits away by bidding the same in different Geographic Areas where there is less competition. One possible solution is to use the new Google Conversion Optimizer, which I presume takes into account regional average conversion when handling bidding, but I'd still like to control it more manually. Hope someone can help !Kenneth |

It isn't to waste of time to duplicate. If there are 10 advertisers for a keyword in Canada and 30 in the USA for the same keyword then you definitely want to be putting in a different bid on that term and tracking it separately. If I can duplicate campaigns quickly I would consider even doing it regionally as opposed to a solely national separation. I think Speed PPC is good for this but there must be a free way of doing it quickly. I may consider getting a script written. You have got a LONG way to go when it comes to understanding PPC...or...at least so it seems. Perry Marshall's free ecourse would be a good start for you. Kenneth

Kenneth, The solution is right in your post. Download and use Adwords Editor. It's intuitive and FREE. Besides, Learning it will only take about a couple of hours. Further more, you can do exactly what you want. Once you start using it, you'll rarely - if ever - have to login online again. Best, - Jay |

That is very true when duping campaigns within your account, but there seems to be very little information on duplicating a campaign into another account. Anyone have any insight into this..Basically duplicate one campaign letter for letter into another adwords account. Then using the editor its simple to search and replace all the changes needed to make it work in the new account.. |

As stated, you need to be using Adwords Editor for building out your accounts, copying, find and replacing, pretty much everything. Excel can also be used if you prefer then imported into Adwords editor. |

The Google AdWords Editor used to have a feature built in just for that purpose, it was called Google AdWords Templates and was intended to be used by professional account managers to create a template for a particular niche market and share with clients or sale the templates to independent advertisers. You could store your templates within your MCC account. It didn't last, they removed the Template Center feature from MCC accounts as well as the AdWords Editor. You can easily copy and paste an entire campaign within the AdWords Editor using the standard windows copy and paste keyboard shortcuts, just rename the campaign after you make a copy. I'm sure you already know that you cannot run duplicate campaigns simultaneously, right?
