Hi Worriors, I have an adsense website that I created about 6 months ago and I'm not getting the traffic like I thought I would. I get about 15 visits a day. Can someone have a look at it and tell me from an SEO stand point what is wrong? Understanding breast cancer treatment is critical to the success of controlling or eliminating breast cancer. Also I have tried to join link exchanges and they say that my website has not been indexed by google but if you search for the URL in google you will find it, so I'm not sure what they are talking about. Can someone shed some light on this issue? Thanks in advance, Tim |

Try to get more backlinks, i looked at your site and it has 51 backlinks (according to yahoo) if your site is 6 months old then 51 backlinks (and a lot of those backlinks come from this forum) that is not enough by far. Also you need to update your site ad some fresh content let the SE know that it is still interesting to have it in the index or other sites with fresh content will always outrank you, This site really need a lot more work to get it ranking well. |

Hi Tim, The first thing I noticed is that you don't have any META KEYWORDS or a META DESCRIPTION in the <head></head> part of your pages - these sections are quite important for SEO. Secondly, your link text in the side menu should start with the main keywords the target page is targeting - most of them start with "understanding ..." Thirdly, nothing to do with SEO, but your Adsense ads need to be above the "fold", between the article title and the article body would be good on your site. Pete |

Tim, my only suggestion would be to remove my stats code from your site, as it makes it kind of obvious you copied a template of mine, which is fine, it might affect your stats counting too Dave - |

Alright I'm a new guy to this forum but not such a new guy to SEO, if you catch my drift. Here's what I would suggest: Get more focused on your keywords.. aim for a 2 or 3 word keyphrase. Make sure this keyphrase is wrapped around <h1> tags under your body. Incoming links from this forum won't help you too much, you'd be better off with links coming from a cancer related forum. Move your Adsense blocks up... put 1 where visitors would normally expect to find a left hand navigation. There's many many more things you could do (I haven't spent long looking at your site) but that's that's just a couple of basic tips that might help you out. Good luck |

Boy, pyu guys really make this work sound easy. I've got to get my own online review site up and running pretty soon. I get the feeling that I will be running into the same newbie trouble that Tim 45 is having. Any Advice on how to save Time and Money?

Here are the top 10 reasons 1. Lack of quality incoming links 2. Lack of a quantity of incoming links 3. Not enough incoming links 4. The few links that there are happen to be improperly anchored 5. Not enough quality links 6. People are not wearing enough hats 7. An insufficent number of quality links from related sites or authority sites 8. Poor internal SEO 9. Poor keyword choices 10. A "Made for Adsense" site template footprint Also, your Adsense placement is poor. |

One thing i noticed respectfully is that some of your pages have broken links? As per what your hosting site shows-. Secondly you might be in the google sandbox of having a similar site like everybody else? How often are you adding quality content to this site? Having an interactive site helps? Are you trying to build a list at least? You want to be able to capture your reader -via presell and keep them coming back? Hope this helps
