Anyone know of a good accurate free keyword analyzer? From what I read and what I see, it seems at though Google is WAAAAY off on numbers. I am just starting out so I need a good free tool to start out then move my way up as I learn more. THANKS!!!

You may want to try: Seo Book Keyword Suggestion Tool In my opinion, however, Google's keyword tool is top-of-the-line. Sure, numbers may not be dead-on accurate, but their "approximations" are quite helpful to me... |

Yes, Google is off with some of their estimates, but fairly close on trends. No one can predict how many searches will actually be performed on any particular keyword. But Google has enough data to back up their estimates. Further, there are very few other "free" keyword tools available aside from the aforementioned Tool by cowboyrob and WordTracker's free tool. I studied PPC from a guy who has earned a couple million bucks solely from PPC, and his primary tool is the Google Adwords site. If you're going to play Google's game, you might as well use their toys. Also, if you are getting into PPC, then looking for free stuff will end up costing you more than you could ever save. Invest in some education, bro. Good luck. Let me know if I can help. |

Hi nmh, What you've heard about the Google AdWords Tool is "WAAAAY off". This tool shows you actual data from the largest search network on the planet. Other tools must extrapolate from relatively small samples and therefore tend to be far less accurate. There is a learning curve and you must take the time to learn how to use this tool properly to get the data you seek. What you have heard is probably the results of folks who haven't yet learned how to use this highly accurate tool. If you take the time to explore the many ways that you can extract data with this tool you will see that the data you seek is in fact there and very accurate. If anyone reading this forum has a credible example of inaccurate data being reported by this tool I would love to hear the specifics for a case study. I have been seeking just such an example on public forums for about a year now and have yet to find a credible case. |
