Default Keyword Rich Domain Name...

So last week I just entered into a brand new niche and conversions have been great using adwords!

The only downside is I am stuck with a nearly constant 200 clicks per day and am now looking to give SEO a go for more traffic/sales!

I found a highly searched long tail keyword that has a domain still available if i separate each word with a "-". I wanna grab this domain fast but don't want it to hurt my main landing pages rank.

Will google penalize me if I purchase several domain names related to one niche on the same Name Cheap account?

I was planning to set up a wordpress blog on a separate hosting account and have the keyword rich domain point to it. Add a matching headline, title tag and articles relating to the keyword for a top organic ranking.

Down the road when i get a high ranking do a redirect directly to the sales page?

I really don't want to do anything that might get my keyword rich domain sandboxed and bring my main sales page along with it.

I don't think Google will penalize you if you have a few related domains on one account, i have about 10 related sites on my godaddy account and then hosting under hostgator...i think Google will frown if you put links back and forth between the sites, thats what I heard, so keep them separate and dont link back and forth, but I could be wrong, but if you did link your sites, make them NOFOLLOW links so it doesnt look like you are trying to artificially raise your rankings...

in regard to the dashed domain, without I think is better, and .com of course, not sure if dashes really matter or not to Google...good luck.

I have thought about that question long and hard.

The only answer I can give you is that it is better to be safe than sorry.

Register your domain names privately.

That's what I am doing for all new sites I create for now on.

Also, I would avoid putting all my sites under one GA account as well...just to be on the safe side.

The same can be said about the servers you place your sites on. I have accounts in 5 different datacenters across the US.

It's good to keep your mini networks separated in that sense. You never know what tricks the old G has up its sleeve.

I have not had a problem with managing mutliple domains in the same account. The downside is that you can't use the "coupons" on established accounts ;-)

I still think keyword rich domains really help!

THis works for me on Google...not as good on Yahoo:

"I was planning to set up a wordpress blog on a separate hosting account and have the keyword rich domain point to it. Add a matching headline, title tag and articles relating to the keyword for a top organic ranking."

I bought some .co keyword domains with excellent results on Google.

Google doesnt car is you own a million domains with the same keywords.

They only care about the content on a website and the links pointing to it.
