Hello warriors,

I think I have found a pretty good keyword. However, its so new that google keyword tool only shows search amount for the last month. I thought that maybe there is a keyword tool which is a bit more up to date?

Thanks

I doubt anything would be more up to date than Google. Think about it. If no one has searched it on Google yet, chances are that no one has searched it anywhere else yet. If it's that new, then competition should be really low anyway, right? If you think it's going to be big then jump on it now.

You could type your keyword and add extension so that it become a domain name. Then go to Valuate.com and Estibot.com.

But I could tell that they are not accurate

    Hi mandos,

I would suggest to use MarketSamurai as it offers a great aompetition analysis.
If you do not have the software and if you can trust me, send me a PM and I will throw your keyword into MS and send you the analysis.

No worries, it is a very long time ago since I have stopped to do earn money with SEO. So I am no competitor at all

Just a suggestion, depends on you

    Regards,

    Rob

I use Keyword Discovery, but it is expensive.

Spy Fu is also good and there are many other services.

Word Tracker use to be great, but some things do not stay the same.

I don't think you'll find any other tool that gives you more up to date data than what you'll get from Google Adwords Keyword Tool.

If it's a new product, for example, then there simply won't be any search history for it.

Almost all keyword research software pulls it's data from Google's keyword tool. You're never going to get 100% accurate figures from Google, but it's as good as it gets and enough for you to make an informed choice.

If you want to know about a particular keyword over time use Google trends to look at the historical search volume data.

Google has the largest sample size. You can use Bing's stats to pull data, but what really matters is the giant elephant in the room that powers 70% or so of all web searches.
