Hi to everyone, I have a question to anyone that can answer this or offer some suggestions. We heard of many marketers build a website and place Adsense Ads on it. The website doesn't do too great, but generates at least, $1 per day. So, the question often raised was, if the website was generating $1 per day, how many of these websites would you build? If this person wanted to build an empire of Adsense sites, and wanted to use Blogs instead of regular websites, would this be too much of a task? Lets assume, 50 or more Adsense sites. Would it make any sense to have an Adsense empire of 50 or more Blogs? I guess my question is, if you're going to be building an empire of Adsense sites, would using Blogs, instead of regular websites be way too much work and possibly useless efforts in the end? Thank you to everyone who answers!! |

It always takes me less time to put up a blog than it does a static website. I can't comment on whether it's worth it to have an adsense empire becuase I'm still trying to build mine. ![]() I think putting up a blog is less work than a regular website but doesn't have the same flexability as a regular website. I have both blogs and regular websites and I just try to think of which one will best suit my needs before I begin a project. |

I'm just rolling out a 'net' of about 100 blogs, all on blogger, that are autopopulated with unique relevant content using a free plugin to a system I'm a member of. I'll let you know how it goes, because the 'big brother' version, that it's based on, is how I make the majority of my money. If it works as well with blogs, I'll stop throwing up 'real' sites - and save the hosting and domain reg fees!

I'll go for static sites or a blogspot domains if I were to create that many sites. However, ethically, I really don't condone 1000 blogs/sites that give out nothing but information pollution. If your aim is to make money by helping your visitors get good info, I think you'll just need 4-5 sites to make it big. |

i can't really say but blogs are a good start to earn money online but for the long run, its best that you have to develop a site of yourself

I think you make nice content is better than make low quality blog. You can make 10 unique blog better than 100 low q. Blog. This is my Idea. |

keeping up with 50 blogs can be a lot of work. 50 websites is a different matter though, because they can all be static once they are written

I have two blogs and I can barely keep up posting unique content on those. I don't know how I would be able to do 50 blogs... unless there is a way to autopopulate them with unique content. Is there such a way?

Really difficult to keep posting to blogs consistently. For a couple of bucks is it worth it? You can autopost 'unique' content, although the content has to come from somewhere. There are a few programs I'm looking at but haven't tried anything yet. Jeff. |

I am running 2 blogs in one domain and I can say running 2 to 3 blogs is great idea than running many blogs because you can concentrate on promotion... and less work... These people who runs a lot of blogs with copied contents are lazy and opportinists... | |

hi, we have a website & blog, whereby the content on the blog promotes the website!!! building an adsense empire with 50 sites or blogs??? you can have 1 site & earn that & use paid traffic. or sell any product online rather than maintain 50 blogs. |

In my experience, a site will potentially make more money in the longer run. I think running 50 blogs and posting regularly seems a bit unrealistic. I would suggest setting up a few websites to start with and build from there.

It´s more about quality and not quantity. You can make a really good income from Adsense with only 1 blog.Write unique and useful content, look at the placement of the ads.

| Thank you for your comment! Yes, I've heard of other people doing this also. They have a blog on their domain for their website that basically drives targeted traffic to their website.

I'm fairly new to internet marketing, but my entire strategy so far has been to build a base income from an adsense empire, and once I have that I can live on that money while I research other approaches. I have 10 blogs on blogger, and I'm making about $1000 a month. I don't treat them like blogs with a readership--I just target different keyword phrases on each page (each blog entry) so that all my traffic comes from search engines. So even if I stop posting, I still get the same amount of visitors and money. I build the blogs with as many entries as I can add until I run out of time-efficient content, then I just leave it alone and let the traffic continue to come in. Just like a static website, but setting up blogs was so much easier. Now, my only concern is that the amount of traffic will slowly drop over time, because maybe my blogs will slip down the search rankings as they get older with no new entries, and new competitive sites/blogs arise. I don't know how long the money will continue coming. But for me this is just the first step into internet marketing, so I'm not too scared about that. |

I recommend you do a static blog, one you dont have to update daily. There are some really great wordpress themes made for adsense clicks. |

Hi Umberto, I highly recommend that you focus on a single blog first, make it as profitable as possible before you start to "rinse and repeat." The reason is because if you can't earn more than $1000 a month with one blog, building another 100 won't work either. You'll be just repeating the same mistakes 100 times. Hope this helps... Jarod |

Here is what I recommend - based on my own personal experience. Build an empire of one site, not many blogs. More sites you have in your Adsense account, more chances of your account getting smart priced. Consider building an article directory site, nor a niche article directory site, where you require other marketers to submit unique content to your site. Advantages of building a single site empire: - easier to manage, to promote (you just need to promote one site, instead of 50 blogs) - you can test out other monetization easily (if you use a template system) Steve |

THis is only for short term. That's better to build a quality website for your adsense empire. You might need to spend a lot of time / money on promoting your 50 blogs. At the same time, you need to consider that blog need to be updated time to time, you might need some new article

| How can you know our account will get smart priced if we put adsense code on too many websites. I guess because google thinks you are building MFA sites??

-Build one site/blog at a time. - Choose an arbitrary number of articles to post to that one site, plus a number of marketing articles, then stop. - Start a second site, while maintaining the first weekly. - Do the same for a third. - Stop at 5 sites/blogs and work them to the bone with content and backlinks. ... that should be all you need. - John |

I believe it is better from a quality point of view and also a management one to concentrate on just several good blogs and nurture those to big earnings. Trying to keep 50 blogs going with quality is next to impossible unless you outsource.
