Hi Guys Has anyone started playing around with the all new Adwords interface yet? I've been trying it out now for a few weeks, and I think it is a great improvement. I spoke to Google earlier and they told me that it's all going to change over in about 2 months. I'd love to know your thoughts on it. Everything seems to be changing at the moment: Adwords, Facebook & Elance. Could this be web3.0 coming over the horizon |

Hi spires, I believe you are part of a relatively small pool of beta testers for the new interface. Most of us have not yet seen nor heard much about it. Please tell us what's new and what you like and dislike about it. As far as Web 3.0 goes, I doubt it. Web 3.0 is all about moving content onto platforms other than web browsers. Think of things like Adwords ads on GPS units, news feeds on stereo receivers or weather feeds on your home thermostats. |

Mine is different. I haven't used it much in the past few weeks since Google hit people with another "slap" and stopped affiliate links and masked sites. I'm working on my web sites and will get back into it on a daily basis like before. What other changes are coming down the pike from them?

Hi dburk I have attached a screenshot. Everything on the new interface uses clientside rendering, which means that everything can be changed in real time rather than submitting forms to the server. Think facebook. The Good: - It's cleaner, quicker and nicer to work with - You can view your keywords and adtext from the campaign level - You can edit multiple campaigns, adgroups, adtext and keywords with great ease The Bad: - There is no split testing option. Not to sure if rotating the ads has become a standard setting. - Takes a good few hours to get use to the new layout All in all, I think it's a welcome improvement and am looking forward to the general release. I think you will all enjoy ![]() P.S - I have recorded an hour long video as a part of my new adwords supremacy product that take user indepth into the new interface. |

Hi spires, So it just like Analytics then, right? Heavy use of AJAX? Did I understand you to say that some features like controlling ad rotation are no longer included? |

Yes, Just like analytics. And yes, There is no rotate button. I'm going to be calling Google to find out what's going on. I'll keep you posted. |
