How To Get Instant Backlinks

OK, so you want some instant backlinks?

Here ya go:

Signup for Squidoo, Blogger, Youtube, Wordpress, any other similar social site(s) where you can add your own links.

Next, modify each account, with a link to your main site, and the key is to link to all other social directories/websites you have accounts with...

EX:

YourSite.blogger.com
youtube.com/yoursite
squidoo.com/yoursite

Main Site: YourSite.com

So, for each of these profiles, add a link to each other profile, and your main site. Basically, you need to create cross links between each profile, and thus create a "web" of links/crosslinks that all link together, but ultimately link back to your main/authority website.

Next, once you have this "web of links" setup, now ping each individual site(s), that link to all your other sites/profiles using a service like:

Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites
or
Ping-o-Matic!

Submit all of your "profile" sites that point to your main domain, as well as submit your main domain to be "pinged"

Final step, once you have some authority/link juice going, then submit to the social bookmarking directories, like Digg.com etc...

Ta-Da!

Now you have instant backlinks, as well as a "web" of links that can grow to give you more authority status/link love.

(Make sure to use Anchor text links that are relevant to your keywords)

And...Don't forget to find the RSS pheed, if they have them, and submit them to all the RSS directories. If they don't have an RSS pheed, make one and submit it.

Also, take all your RSS pheeds and combine them into one "main" pheed that you can use to syndicate all your links easily to all your RSS freindly recources, for easy-self updating cross linking.

Well, it took me about 10 minutes to setup each squidoo lens, blogger blog, youtube channel, twitter channel, etc. (making sure all had good anchor keywords and backlinks to my main site) so about 45 minutes, maybe an hour there, and then it only takes a couple minutes to submit each of them to pingler, so overall time was just a little over an hour.

Beware of pinging your links, sometimes it could harm your site if done repeatedly. I suggest you use a tool named blogbaster, a pinging tool for web site links. Anyway, you really have tons of useful tips in your post, these tips would greatly help newbies like me.

Great point simplyjessie,

You have got to be careful pinging your site(s) repeatedly... usually once is enough, since most apps automatically ping when you add new content...

I've found that after I post a new blog entry, and then I go and try to submit it to ping-o-matic, it gives me a warning that my new post has already been automatically pinged.

Once you have done your initial pings, you should be good, and shouldn't have to ping each time you update your site... (unless it's a static site that isn't automatically pinged...)

Nice tips. I've been using free directories, making blog comments, signature links, social bookmarking. This is another great method though that doesn't take a whole lot of time and sounds like it can produce good results.

This is a great strategy and one that certainly does work because I know from experience. Excellent post. I have also had great success building backlinks into pages I submit on Digg.com and also into specific YouTube videos because it takes fewer backlinks to rank a page from those sites and if those sites link into your website it gives you a similar benefit to having a top ranking with just your site.

Ok, I went about doing this for one of my sites and was near finishing when I noticed all these major sites apply a "nofollow" to all the links we put up. I'm not very familiar with the "nofollow" so I did some reading and it seems that a "nofollow" tag might actually harm our sites' ranking because our links will be regarded as spam quality. Agreed, don't forget to submit to RSS directories! Find an RSS directory list and just start submitting (don't submit to all sites in one day though).

I don't use submission software for just this reason. It's better to (manually) submit your feed to 5-10 directories a day than to just spam every directory there is, just like Jenie said.

Great tip! I just have one question.

When you are building the link network, most of your linked network sites(squidoo, blogger) will be talking about the same thing, so what would I link to each one as if say my main site is about SEO Tools, what would I anchor the Blogger, squidoo pages etc. Looking for a response, thanks!

Nofollow does not hurt your rankings, or even affect them in any way. The primary purpose nofollow was invented for was preventing blog comment spamming (which means it was conceived as a deterrent factor for spammers, but does not mean that any person who comments with nofollow links is automatically dismissed as a spammer). The deterrent force of nofollow consists in the fact that it prevents pagerank and anchor text data from being transferred to the page linked to.

As to the article you are referring to, I'm not inclined to view it as a highly cridible source... Maybe I'm not fully aware of what I am talking about, but the ideas of "capitalization on the web" and "reciprocating nofollow" just don't make any sense to me.

Yahoo pipes is a way ...

Google Reader also allows you to SHARE your subscribed RSS Feeds. If you subscribe to your own - you can do it. You add them to a FOLDER. Tim Dixon did a 2 post series on how to do it search the forum. He's a very sharp guy and it was quite well done.

However getting that feed to disperse valid xml thats consumable by all RSS Feed aggregators has proved a challenge for me. Im sure its doable - I just havent sorted it all out yet.

Ya people whatever you do don't use those auto sign up directory tools. For me I just ended up with a ton of spam in my in box and I only got good traffic from the ones I would have signed up for anyway.
