How to Improve alexa rank of my site

Hello Everyone,
I've heard that to improve my website's alexa rank alexa widget is needed. And beside this alexa toolbar is also needed for visitor's browser and many others.

But I want to find some effective ways.

If you know about it please shear with me.

I would suggest not putting too much weight on this metric. There is a lot of debate around the web as to how accurate and useful it is. Some people say that the data is totally exaggerated and skewed, others like to use it. Alexa collects its data by a tool bar installed in the browser for users. If users don’t have the tool bar installed, they are not counted in the data. So in theory, if a website had visitors that were well aware of the Alexa tool bar and didn’t want it installed, that site would have a horrible Alexa ranking. That’s probably a horribly extreme example but you get the idea.
In a nutshell, there are probably lots of other things you should be working hard on before you start worrying about this.

I've had people call me to brag about their Alexa ranking... Didn't Zeekler even use it in their sales pitch?

So aside from usual BS, there's always unusual BS.

a huge footprint online. I wonder why nobody but me ever

Try to get more traffic to your site. Write a review of your site on Alexa and ask your visitors to do the same. Add fresh content on your website regularly and write guest posts on other blogs to get quality backlinks.

At first I thought Traffic = Alexa Rankings but then I tested a site, threw a "paid" high quality theme on it and purposely went for as minimal traffic as possible. Alexa rankings started to go up just because of how the site looked. Traffic was about 1-5 visitors a day(mostly spiders) and rankings still increased. Keep in mind I had basically ZERO content to duplicate content/pictures. I did hit the site with fb likes/tweets/g+'s though. I would say site quality/looks and if you have social signals incorporated is a huge Alexa ranking factor.

I completely agree I think Alexa is useless - but I understand why people would want to find a way to increase Alexa results, seeing as it's one of the factors automatically rated on Flippa auctions...

And I hear tell that it's quite easy to fake a high alexa ranking if you have a bit of a budget - by hiring someone with the right equipment & know-how, to simulate thousands of website views on browsers with the Alexa tool bar, seeminfly all from different IP ranges....
