Howdy Warriors, The site I am setting up has several FAQs on it. Let's just say I have a Hardware FAQ and a Software FAQ and a Windows FAQ. First I just had three pages with questions and answers....long pages. XSitePro even has the little widget so the answer can "unfold" under the question when you click it! Nifty! But then I started thinking...it would be better to have every question on it's own page for SEO, right? So you can target keywords for that question? And also, if I go to another site, blog, forum, Yahoo Answers...and answer a question with a link, I would want to link back to the appropriate single page, not just a general FAQ? Thanks in advance! I'd go for separate pages. Reason #1, more content. Make sure you include the pages in your sitemap. #2, better keyword focus. You can add the keyword phrases in the title and description meta tag

Yea, for the purpose of SEO it's always better to put the "targeted keyword" on it's own page when you can. But, at the same time you have to create a FAQ section that's easy for the user to navigate. If you can balance the two, then go ahead and do it. |

common mistakes of other webowners was using the same keyword for their main page and the sub pages, its always needed to use different keywords that describes the pages really well and has the right amount of traffic and lesser competitors..
