Hey just a quick question for someone, I've been told by reliable sources that boths way could work to START a PPC campaign if you do them right... 1) bid on as many keywords (10-20 000 +) as you can that relate to your niche, subcategorizing them by adgroup..etc... or 2) bid broad on a few keywords (100-200) and then create long tail keywords for your highest CTR words... Or if anyone has a the "SECRET" method/strategy of starting a successful PPC campaign... thanks, |

Hi Ethan, How many keywords you start with depends on how big a hurry you are in and what your budget limitations are. There is a minimal amount of time and effort that needs to be applied to each and every keyword. If your resources are limited, you should limit your keyword list to a manageable level. You should consider that your account, each campaign, ad group and keyword has a Quality Score history. It's best to get your initial campaign running well before expanding. Too many problem ad groups can give your account a poor Quality Score history bias. Don't start big unless you really know what you're doing. |
