Will google get pissed if you are constantly using programs to find Comp Keywords?

Hi i use a program called keyword elite + plug in huge lists of keywords and find which keywords the competitors are using. I do this on a regular basis, so my question to you will google or your ip company (can't see why) get angry if you do this constantly?

i guess no why would something that you do pay for your net

sometimes they ban your ip for a specific time but it gets released soon

You'll get your IP blocked. First they give you a warning and make you put in a capcha, then they just ban your IP.

You're not a true IM until you've had your IP banned by Google.

Yahoo does the same with site exploer.

As long as you pause around 3 seconds between queries, you won't get banned. I've THOROUGHLY tested this. I wrote a custom client-based program that checks all my keyword phrase positions for me and all my clients. I've got a couple thousand keyword phrases I check once a week. My code pauses a random amount of time between 2 and 5 seconds. Never been banned using my program.

I've used keyword elite for over a year now, never had a problem.

I get my ip banned from SEOQuake alone if I'm not careful.

Happens all the time with my Market Samurai. Couple of hours later and gets back to normal.
