If you wanted to see what someone is actually bidding on is spyfu that accurate or is it a guess? Are there other companies which are more accurate? Thanks! |

Hello, Good Question...but hard to answer. I currently use SpyFu & Keyword Spy Pro. I used to have KeyCompete as well, but found it to be the least powerful of the two. Funny thing is...if you run a keyword through SpyFu and through KeywordSpy...in most cases you'll get different numbers and lists of keywords. So, as far as accuracy...take what any service gives you with a grain of salt. There is a newer service that looks pretty cool...SEMRush.com Much cheaper than KeywordSpy and looks to have similar features of SpyFu. I know KeywordSpy offers a trial and I think SEMRush does as well...try them out and see what you prefer. SpyFu does offer free service with limited functionality too. Hope That Helps! |

Hi helpmePPC, You asked "Are companies like Spyfu accurate"? The short answer is no. That doesn't mean that the data they provide isn't useful. They collect tiny slices of data and draw conclusions based on that. They almost never have a complete picture of what is going on. Still, having any data about what your competitors are doing can be useful. |
