Adwords Toolbox

H all,

Im gonna start adwords v soon and I know there are many pit falls so I know I need to go in fully armed and prepared.

The problem is there is a ton of ppc/adwords guides out there as well as info on this forum so where do I start ? I dont want to randomly waste money on various ebooks and software so could you guys recommend something that is universally agreed upon or the over opinion is particulary good of a particular ebook or software for starting and mastering adwords. Actually do I need software such as a spying tool ? I dont know can you help !

Hi Dave,

You really need to have a strong understanding of the fundamentals before moving to more advanced strategies and tactics. The absolute best place to start learning is the AdWords Learning Center.

dburk's link above is the place to go. The AdWords learning centre contains a bunch of short introductory videos. These are an excellent start for getting a grasp on how Google Adwords operates and how Google wants you to use AdWords. You can also learn a bunch of stuff from Youtube and here on the forums.

Hi Dave.

You probably want to master the foundations before moving into buying all of the tools.
However, the tool I like the best is keycompete.com, this tool will give you all of the keywords that your competition is bidding on. Very cool

I agree with dburk that AdWords Learning Center is the best place to learn adwords if you are a complete beginner .

But , after you gain some knowledge you can invest in good action oriented step by step guides .
