I don't know what you would consider "good", but I'm hitting around a 2.00% CTR. I know it's kinda low, and I've been working on it to bring it up. I'm currently at position 6-9 with my Adwords for my biggest keyword. What's the best CTR you achieved? Also, just a side question, is it possible to make a display URL different from the URL of the site in adwords? Or maybe put a display URL subdomain that does not exist? |

100% of course! one search one click.... love it when that happens The highest I've maintained is around 21% on a pretty expensive keyword. Knocked my cpc down drastically. As for your question, check the TOS. I think it is possible but don't upset the giant gorilla. It might negatively effect your quality score as well if the display url has nothing to do with the landing page. |

I wish that was my average, but I do have keywords that I get 100% on some days. My content is around 2% as well, content is a differnet animal that I don't mess with most of the time. That is only because my primary niche is very targeted and is not a really high traffic area. All content has done for me so far is lower my overall CTR's and I'd rather have the cheaper clicks. I could be going at this completely wrong, but it's working for me so far. |

Yeah, I also get up to 20% CTR, but only on highly optimized campaigns. You have to spend a lot of time and effort to get that consistently On not so optimized campaign 6% is very respectable. |
