How long does it typically take for your article to get indexed?

I just got mine published today and it's based on a long-tail keyword with very little competition, I tried social bookmarking it but it seems like alot of social sites ban ezine articles? Anyway how long does it typically take for your articles to appear in google under long tail keywords.

Depends on how often the directory is crawled, article content, targeted keywords and a number of other factors. It could happen in minutes or weeks based on the factors mentioned.

Try pinging the RSS feed of your article as well.

I heard it takes even seven days for them to approve in some cases. This is a bummer, but I guess it does not really matter. All you have to do is write your articles every day, and after some time you'll have them approved every day

I had one of my articles go live today and about 30 minutes later I typed my keyword into Google and I had the 7th spot on the 1st page. I didn't do any type of backlinking. Very little competition however.

I've seen them get indexed in days and other times weeks. I know that does not help you much.

I think it's about a week if you can get some good backlinks to it (through blog commenting, article commenting etc...).

Mine usually get indexed the same day. It will depend on your domain and how often it gets crawled.

I posted this one yesterday and you find it on page 2 of Google already.

Once my articles have been approved they are usually indexed within 48 hours
