I made a few bucks through Adsense in years past but dropped the program a couple of years ago when all the advertisers switched to 'Content' and revenue plummeted. I'm now looking to get involved with Adsense again since, with carefully chosen niches, it appears possible to make a good passive income from it now. As 'Step #1', I plan to throw up a hundred sites over the next few weeks. I'm of the old-fashioned opinion that a hundred sites each earning a little is better than one site earning a lot. For this phase I don't really want to invest in a hundred domain names just yet. I own a wonderful five character .com domain name that would serve admirably as a hub linking to all my sites. Question: Which is better in the long run: a hundred sub-domains linked from the hub or a hundred folders of the hub domain? |

I have observed that Google treats a subdomain hub with more suspicion on less established domains since this was a spamming technique a few years ago. Your mileage may vary. | |

You're probably going to want to go with folders.
