Sounds like something major is wrong. Where did the traffic come from? Was it actual human traffic or bots? Where are your ads positioned? There could be a million reasons - we need more information to help. |

you could still be getting impressions but check your ad position. It may be pn page 2 or 3 etc. You may need to increase your CPC. DZ |

It is hard to pin point a thing but it is probably something to do with your niche as people don't find the Adsense too enticing to click. However, you can try with Link Unit, different Ad typs both image and text to see if they improve your CTR. |

Hi mememolly, Posting your CTR in a public forum is a serious violation of AdSense TOS. You should edit your post and remove the specific CTR before you get the boot. From my experience when someone has such a low CTR it's usually due to poorly targeted traffic. Sending poorly targeted traffic to a page with AdSense ads is not a good idea, you could end up getting smart priced or have your account suspended. |

| Not banned, suspended, and not for low CTR, but for poorly targeted traffic. Poorly targeted traffic usually has a very low conversion rate for the advertisers. It's this poor conversion rate that will get your account suspended, not the CTR.

| I've heard this, and seen it myself in the TOS, and posted similar reminders to individuals on other boards - but has anyone ever been pursued by G for this? Or is it an example of us all being conditioned by G?

many times I have seen people post CTR on a public forum and a short time later they are back on the forum complaining that their account was disabled for no reason. I guess that's just a coincidence.

Trust me, the conversion rate is being tracked by most advertisers and a poor conversion rate will lead to smart pricing or a suspension of your AdSense account.

| So there you go. But how are they tracking people down? Google has their ways i guess. Back to drinking the kool-aid. Sorry this is OT.

Then there are other user behavior metrics like TOS (Time On Site) Average page views and page abandon rates which can be measured through Analytics and the Google Toolbar. Nearly all of Google's income comes from AdWords, so they are extraordinarily protective of their advertisers. If you help the advertisers you will be rewarded, if you betray them you will be cutoff.
