Whether you do it yourself or you outsource.........
How do you do it?

Do you post your links as sig or in a thread?

Now if you create a thread, many times it will get removed ...

now if you are posting as sig..... then wont your sig will become full of links (especially if you are a forum poster service provider) ????

Do it yourself if u know the niche. Outsource if you find the niche alien.

Add one or two links in your signature.

Hopefully most everyone detected my sarcasm. It's actually a terrible idea. Don't do it.

Just join a handful of niche-related forums that are getting decent traffic, make LEGITIMATE posts, and add a link to your sig. That's it. Do it consistently and you'll be surprised at the extremely targeted traffic you'll start to get.

I haven't done it since.... 2008. Go for high PR quality backlinks instead.

Creating a relationship with the forums is necessary. Being a member for a particular amount of time. You should then add signature. Registering in a forum and adding signature can lead to Spamming.

I have one question. If I provide forum sig link building as a service ... after sometime my sig will be full of links (of clients).

Blindly leaving links at forums is the worse idea ever. You will surely get removed. When you will want to build backlink from forums, you should target a forum, build relationship with the members of that forum. After that, you will be able to post threads with link but it must relevant to the discussion of the forum.

I always place the links in my signature. If you create a thread, just be sure that it adds value to the forum. As long as the thread is not spammy, it shouldn't get removed.

You can follow the below steps when you take part in any forums
1. post in the relevant forum: post the topic in the most relevant forum possible
2. use description title: if description is good topic and well written, you will not only get a lot of clicks from forum but google will rank the thread earlier.
3. discuss the topic: forcusing on the subjecte
If you follow the guidelines, your posts will be read more and receive better feedback.

It is possible to get them from forum posting too. When you are posting a lot of forum posts, some of those post pages may get high PR in regular PR updates of Google. For example, you have posted 100 posts in Warriorforum and you have a link in your signature. 100 posts means, you have almost your backlinks into almost 100 pages. And surely some of those page will have PR for sure. It does happen for popular forums.

I prefer posting useful comments on other threads and I do NOT post any links in the thread. A place for links is in the signature. Two or Three links max... And also, if you are a forum poster provider, then you will have at least 5 accounts in every forum, so 15 links / 5 accounts -> 3 links per account (not such a big problem!) :)

You can either do it yourself or outsource it if you have a person who’s knowledgeable enough for the niche that you’re into. Joining forums - post on forum threads (with high traffic) which relates to your niche. Also, it’s better to have your links as sig rather than posting it in a thread.
