About a year ago I looked at an Amazon store builder. It was a fantastic piece of software with a monthly fee. I remember that you couldn’t see that it was an Amazon store till the point of paying where it said “we’ve teamed up with Amazon” or something like that. The stores looked great, the onsite SEO and titles were great and the products where automatically build and updated with description and reviews. I can’t recall which site it was and I don’t seem to have bookmarked it because around that time many IM’s talked about the difficulty of ranking high in Google with an Amazon store. And even today when I do some research in Google I never see an Amazon store being number one in the rankings. This is why I’m interested to hear from you if it is still possible to rank high (preferably first) in Google with an Amazon store and if you are familiar with a good store builder that’s fully customizable. |

The problem is your site would be a clone of Amazon. Why not set up a 'Review Site' where you review different Amazon products - that would be more unique to Google?

Yeah you definitely need your own content. Using Amazon's descriptions/reviews won't get you far in most cases, and you'd be fighting an uphill battle to rank with your non-unique content.

How time flies... This post is just over 2 years old. I found software called associate-o-matic and yes, you can rank very well with them. We have the SEO automated, and we are making well over 5 figures a month with them - so there's good money to be made with automated Amazon stores. Thanks for the replies though.

wow! your result is amazing... care to share how you have your SEO automated ? Do you write any unique contents yourself or rely solely on associate-o-matic ? Thanks Quote:

Hi Balric - I'm using WP Zon Builder but am going to buy AOM - it just seems so much more robust. right now my two sites are freecookbookreviews dot com and bestcellcases dot com - i'm going to re-do both w/ AOM and maybe sell them. I'm listing freecookbooks and bestcellcases on Flippa but have no idea how much to charge? lol!! any ideas? Anyway, can you recommend someone to do ongoing SEO? I use All in One SEO on WP and love it. I'm looking for someone to take over SEO, Article Marketng, Backlinking, etc... Thank you Balric! PS - I found this WP plugin - WP Mobile Detector- it optimizes your site for mobile usage, its pretty cool, hopefull useful! | |

The only seo service so far I would even think about recommending is http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...e-ranking.html It is not a recommendation yet but it looks like they will be in a few month. I don't know anything yet to get links to all the pages yet except social bookmarking plugins. |
