Blending your text color with your adsense text color = more $$$

If you use Wordpress and have ONE adsense ad only on your pages, set it up to mimic your site text's color. This improved my earnings by per click by 30 to 40%

I am not sure if this will work with everyone's setup but I just want to share what works for me.

    Solid piece of advice... I've also done this as well - on almost all of my remaining AdSense sites, I've found that sticking with blue links has helped increase my CTR consistently, too.

      People expect blue to be links. But it also depends on your theme design. Some themes have links in other colors. Mimic those. The whole point is to make the ADS PART OF THE CONTENT. ie., they add VALUE to the content.

    Actually the CTR is not the most important thing to consider.

    I had a site with a ctr of 12% making around $20 per 1000 pageviews
    Then i changed the amount of ads on my site to only show 2-3 ads per site instead of +10.

    I used the 250x250.
    I got only 5% after that but my income got 50% higher.

    It is not only about the ctr.

    BTW to stick on topic, i have never experienced color to change my CPC.
